Environmental Organization Design
The GEN is an enviromental organization dedicated to protect the nature of Ibiza
Project Overview
This was a project where I collaborated with this ecological group on creating a website that showcased all the actions, activities, and efforts that a small group of people take and coordinate to protect nature on a fragile island.
They needed a responsive website where they could place all the information about themselves and their programs. The job they do on several environmental issues in Ibiza, where their time goes to protecting, educating and recovering nature.
The Problem
The website had to showcase its active conservation and recovery programs. But also had to be a way of getting collaborators and volunteers.
Furthermore, it was essential that the home featured the most important activity at the time. When it was created, they needed to provide access to users to the page where their efforts on protecting autochthonal lizards from invasive snakes depredation.
The Solution
Again, information architecture was key to the solutions needed to achieve what the group wanted.
So, the hero section in the home is dedicated to the current most important program, so users have quick and direct access to the page where they can find information and a way to collaborate.
